Blemish, Mole and Benign Lesion Removal

A benign cutaneous lesion is any non-cancerous growth on the skin. Commonly treated lesions include cosmetically bothersome moles, seborrheic keratosis, skin tags, cholesterol deposits, milia, cherry angiomas, sebaceous hyperplasia, and actinic keratosis. We offer very specific treatment options for different benign growths.

Please schedule a consultation to determine what treatment will be most effective for you. Available lesion treatments include:

  • Cryosurgery (liquid nitrogen)
  • Hyfrecator
  • Laser Treatments
  • Surgical Removal with Dr. Kevin Robertson

After the lesion has been removed, most people can resume normal daily activities immediately. Benign lesion removal generally takes between five and 20 minutes. Complete post-care instructions will be discussed with you, and usually include nothing more than an antibiotic ointment and a bandage.
